4/2018. SAFEYOU team member Dr Michaelides participated in the meeting of European Commission and World Health Organization, in Cyprus. In this event, the World Health Organization was represented by Dr. Joao Breda, the Head of the WHO European Office for the Prevention and Control of Non-communicable Diseases and Programme Manager for Nutrition, Physical Activity and Obesity. Also, the Policy Officer of the Sport Unit, representative of the European Commission, Mr Olivier Fontaine attended the event. The SAFEYOU team member contributed to the event by providing expertise and information on the project SAFE YOU and explaining how the project tackles doping through evidence-based education.
