14-16/12/2018. SAFEYOU co-organised the National Congress of Sports Psychology with the national Association of Sport and Exercise Psychology. SAFEYOU team members presented the different aspects and deliverables of the project. Dr Barkoukis presented the SAFEYOU and SAFEYOU+ projects and discussed the conceptual approaches to doping prevention in sports. Prof Zelli talked about the need to educate athletes to make informed choices regarding anti-doping. Prof Petroczi introduced the concept of risk assessment in athletes’ education. Prof Brand highlightedthe value of case studies for the development of powerful education. PhD Bingham talked about the SAFEYOU educational video. Dr Michaelides explained how sport federations should incorporate anti-doping education in their structure. Mr Hudson, presented the interactive video ‘PLAY SAFE’ produced in the project to raise awareness about doping. Dr Pavlidis introduced the SAFEYOU themes for safer sport and the SAFEYOU mobile app. Prof Tsorbatzoudis provided a keynote speech on the integrity in sport.
