25/11/2015 Dr Lambros Lazuras discussed body image and steroid use in young exercisers, and presented SAFE YOU project in a public talk at the Psychology Society of Sheffield Hallam University. The talk was well attended by both undergraduate and post-graduate students, and inspired a lively discussion about the prevalence of steroid use in fitness setting by young exercisers, as well as by the need to empower relevant stakeholders and raise awareness about the issue. As an outcome of the public talk, officials from Student Union agreed to jointly launch a University-wide anti-doping campaign with the SAFE YOU team.
