3/4/2016. The SAFE YOU team promoted the ‘stay fit, stay clean’ message to the participants of the Marathon ‘Alexander the Great’, held in Thessaloniki, Greece. This is the biggest running event in Northern Greece, attracting approximately 20.000 participants every year (marathon run, 1000m, 5.000m and 10.000m runs). The SAFE YOU team distributed had their own kiosk, distributing leaflets to adult and minor participants, their escorts, as well as to spectators of the vent, increasing their awareness about the hazards of doping use in recreational sport. Also, SAFE YOU team distributed t-shirts to children and discussed the value of health promoting physical activity.
